Classic car specialist since 1986.

Specialising in Triumph Stag. Triumph Stag Hardtops and British Classic Cars and Motorbikes 1945 - 1980.


Tim Collins. The Vehicle Restoration Co (est 1986). 

The Vehicle Restoration Co was founded in February 1986 in workshop premises in Middleton On Sea, West Sussex by Tim Collins who had started restoring Classic Cars and Motorbikes with his family at the age of 14. Prior to starting the Business and after serving his apprenticeship, he worked Restoring Classic Cars in the UK and overseas (Canada & USA) and has been involved in many projects including Triumph, Rover, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin and Jaguar. Tim Collins still owns and runs the Company.


We are the only Company that we know with a purpose built Triumph Stag Hardtop Jig, we restore Triumph Stag Hardtops to "as new" condition and export them UK/worldwide.

We want our visitors to this website to be aware of our background and we are proud of our 40 years in business
